Trolls & Legends Festival 2024

For its eleventh edition, Trolls & Legends 2024 once again brought together the great family of fantasy in Mons, for a vibrant and unforgettable Easter weekend. The festival welcomed prestigious guest stars, artists from all over Europe, and thousands of enthusiasts who came to share their love of the imaginary.

Festival-goers had the opportunity to meet major figures of contemporary fantasy such as Robert Jackson Bennett and Naomi Novik, as well as essential authors like Pierre Bordage, Claire Duvivier, and David Bry. In the comic book realm, talents like Jean-Charles Poupard, Mateo Guerrero, and Herik Hanna animated discussions and signing sessions.

The concerts once again set the evenings ablaze, with flagship bands such as Korpiklaani, Dalriada, Blackbriar, Prima Nocta, Deloraine, Eihwar, and Eivør, offering three nights of music, dance, and celebration where fantasy mingled with folk, metal, and Celtic sounds.

The festival also celebrated the presence of an exceptional guest of honor from the gaming world, Ian Livingstone, surrounded by renowned creators and illustrators. Game spaces, competitions, workshops, and introductions punctuated the weekend, while the cinema hosted guests like Tom Canton (The Witcher), Ragga Ragnars (Vikings), and Nicolas Gabion (Kaamelott).

Exhibitions, animations, shows, troupes, and companies delighted young and old alike, in a festive and warm atmosphere. A fairy market, children's area, workshops, and parades completed this edition, proving once again that Trolls & Legends is much more than a festival: it is a big family where the magic of fantasy is lived and shared.
